Mission/Vision/Ethos

MISSION

Great physical therapy shouldn’t cost you $200 a visit and it shouldn’t feel like a conveyor belt, either.

To change lives through movement by delivering a truly personalized physical therapy experience — one that makes every patient feel heard, empowered, and genuinely cared for — regardless of what insurance card is in their wallet.

Why We Exist

Physical therapy got lost somewhere along the way.

In South Florida, the average in-network clinic sees 3 to 6 patients per treatment slot. You get a handful of minutes with your clinician — if you’re lucky — before they move to the next patient. You leave feeling like a number. You’re not sure they remembered your name, let alone your goals.

Most people assume that if they want something better — actual individualized attention, a clinician who knows their case and checks in on how last week went — they have to pay out of pocket. Cash-based rates. No insurance. $200 or more per visit.

We built Propel to prove that assumption wrong — and to prove that PT can actually feel like something worth showing up for.

You shouldn’t have to choose between using your insurance and having a physical therapist who actually has time for you. That’s not a luxury — that’s what PT is supposed to be.

We made a deliberate choice to see fewer patients so we could truly show up for each one.

What We Believe

The experience you get at Propel should set the new standard — not be the exception.

01 — Insurance shouldn’t define the quality of your care.

We accept most major commercial insurances and still deliver the kind of focused, individualized treatment patients elsewhere only get by going private-pay. That’s the model we’ve built — and the standard we hold ourselves to on every single visit. You shouldn’t have to choose between your coverage and your care.

02 — You should leave every session feeling better — and heard.

When you’re one of six patients in a slot, your story gets compressed into a chart note. At Propel, your clinician knows your goals, remembers what you mentioned last week, and celebrates the small wins with you. That connection isn’t a bonus. It’s part of the treatment.

03 — Movement is the most underused medicine there is — and it can actually be empowering.

We’re not here to manage your pain indefinitely. We’re here to restore your confidence in your body, help you understand what you’re capable of, and send you out better than you came in. When patients understand the “why” behind what we’re doing, the process becomes something they own — not something that’s done to them.

04 — PT should feel like an experience worth having — not an obligation to get through.

We work hard to make Propel a place patients genuinely want to come back to. Not because rehab is inherently thrilling, but because the environment is warm, the team remembers you, and you leave every visit feeling like progress is actually happening. That energy changes outcomes.

05 — The community deserves to know what great PT actually looks like.

Part of our mission is education — showing South Florida what this profession is capable of when practiced the way it was meant to be. Once patients experience it, they know the difference. And they expect more, as they should.

VISION 2030

Five locations. One purpose. Thousands helped each month — and every single one of them felt it.

To become the undisputed #1 physical therapy provider in all of South Florida — five locations built on clinical excellence, real relationships, and a culture where “Move Better, Live Better” isn’t a slogan. It’s something patients actually feel on the way out the door.

Where We’re Going

Growth that creates access, opportunity, and impact — not just revenue.

Vision 2030 is not a real estate plan. It’s a declaration of who we’re becoming. Every location we open is a new community we commit to serving at the highest standard — same values, same culture, same clinical rigor, same warmth in the room, every time.

More locations means more patients in South Florida who finally get to experience what PT can feel like when it’s done right. It means more team members who get to build careers inside an organization that actually invests in them. And it means Propel becomes a name the community recognizes — not because we ran ads, but because someone’s neighbor told them it was the best experience they’d ever had with a healthcare provider.

That word of mouth is the vision. We grow so more people can feel it.

The 2030 Target

What we’re building toward in numbers.

These aren’t projections pulled from a spreadsheet. They’re commitments — grounded in the trajectory we’re already on and the standard of care and experience we refuse to compromise, no matter how large we grow.

Four Commitments That Will Define Propel by 2030

1 — A Community-Known Brand Built on How We Made People Feel

One identity — consistent across digital, physical, and experiential touchpoints. Every location feels like Propel: the same paint, the same values on the wall, the same culture in the room, the same energy when you walk in. The community will know us not because we advertised — but because patients told people. Because the experience was memorable. Because they finally felt like someone in healthcare actually saw them.

2 — More Opportunity for Our Team

Intentional growth creates real pathways — Site Director tracks, OCS certification support, leadership roles that didn’t exist yet. Our clinicians shouldn’t have to leave Propel to advance. We’re building the career ladder as we build the organization. A team that feels invested in grows into one that invests fully in every patient they touch.

3 — Genuine Relationships at Scale

Our team remembers names. Celebrates milestones. Asks how the weekend went before the session starts. As we grow, our most important challenge is preserving what makes us feel small — the warmth, the attention, the sense that every person who walks through that door matters. Scale is only worth it if the experience scales with it.

4 — Relentless Reflection & Improvement

We track outcomes. We invite feedback. We treat data not as a compliance exercise but as a signal for how to keep getting better — clinically, culturally, and experientially. “Feedback is a luxury” — we earn it by creating a place where patients feel safe enough to say what they actually think, and where our team does the same.

To become the undisputed #1 physical therapy provider in all of South Florida.

We’re not trying to be the biggest room in the building. We’re building the room everyone else is measured against. Five locations. One standard. A community that finally knows what great PT is supposed to feel like — and keeps coming back because of it.

ETHOS

We don’t cut corners. We don’t overbook your care. And we work hard to make sure you actually enjoy being here.

At Propel, we don’t believe personalized attention should come with a cash-only price tag. We are proof that insurance-based care can feel like something far better than what this market has accepted as normal — and that physical therapy can be an experience patients look forward to, not just an obligation they push through.

How We Operate

We made deliberate choices that most clinics wouldn’t — because the patient experience demanded it.

We see fewer patients per session. We only hire Doctors Of Physical Therapy. We invest in mentorship, celebrate progress loudly, and build careers — not just caseloads.

But we also invest in something that doesn’t show up in clinical metrics: the feeling patients get when they walk into one of our locations. The way the front desk already knows their name. The way their clinician follows up on something they mentioned the week before. The way leaving a session feels like leaving somewhere that actually cared about them — not just their diagnosis.

Every clinical space looks the same: the same values on the wall, the same culture in the room, the same standard of care and of connection regardless of which Propel location you’re at. Consistency is our signature — in quality and in warmth.

Our Core Values — Lived, Not Just Posted

Servant Leadership

Serve others first.

We lead through service — putting our team, patients, and community ahead of ourselves. Leadership at Propel means taking ownership, reducing friction for the people around you, and holding yourself to the highest standard before asking it of anyone else. If you’re leading here, you go first. And “serving” in this context isn’t just operational — it means showing up with presence, patience, and genuine care for the person in front of you.

Relentless Tenacity

Challenges are expected, not avoided.

Running a growing healthcare practice is hard. Recovery is hard, too. We don’t pretend otherwise — for our team or for our patients. When things get difficult, we respond with grit, discipline, and resolve. We stay in it. Whether that means a patient pushing through a tough session or our leadership team navigating a hard operational call, the standard is the same: stay committed to the mission when it’s inconvenient.

Purpose Driven

Remain anchored by your why.

Every visit matters. Every decision we make is rooted in something larger than productivity metrics — changing lives through movement, one person at a time. When personal purpose aligns with professional purpose, the work becomes meaningful, sustainable, and genuinely impactful. We look for that alignment in everyone we hire, because a clinician who knows their why brings an energy to the room that patients feel immediately.

Intentional Growth

Grow with purpose, not by accident.

We don’t chase scale for its own sake. As individuals, as clinicians, and as an organization, we pursue continuous improvement through honest reflection and disciplined execution. This extends to the patient experience — we’re constantly asking ourselves how to make it better. Warmer. More empowering. More human. Growth is measured not just by the locations we open, but by the standards we raise along the way and the people we develop while doing it.

Move-First Mentality

Action always beats stagnation.

Movement is at the core of what we do — literally and culturally. Clinically, we remove fear from the equation and show patients what their bodies are actually capable of. That’s often the most empowering moment someone has in this building: realizing they can do more than they thought. Organizationally, we make decisions and iterate — we don’t wait for perfect conditions that never come. Move. Adjust. Keep going.

Unreasonable Hospitality

Create an experience that feels exceptional, human, and memorable.

We borrow this language from the hospitality world because it belongs here too — maybe more than anywhere. Every patient who walks through our doors should feel welcomed, known, and genuinely cared for — not processed. We remember names. We ask about the game, the trip, the kid’s graduation. We celebrate their wins like they belong to

What This Looks Like in Practice

  • Your clinician is dedicated to your session — not splitting attention across five other patients. We protect your time by limiting our caseload. That means you get to actually talk through what’s been happening, not just jump into exercises and go home. The conversation is part of the care.
  • Your insurance is accepted — and your experience is anything but standard. We work with most major insurers because we believe the boutique experience shouldn’t require a boutique price tag. Feeling heard and cared for in a healthcare setting shouldn’t be a premium feature. It should be the default.
  • Every location looks, feels, and operates the same — because culture isn’t decoration. Same paint. Same core value canvases. Same turf. Same energy when you walk in. We’ve built an environment patients recognize — one that signals, before anyone says a word, that this place is different.
  • We make it a point to make PT feel like something worth showing up to. Not because rehab is inherently fun, but because the people in the room make it worth it. The encouragement is real. The relationships are genuine. And somewhere along the way, a lot of patients stop dreading their appointments — and start looking forward to them.
  • Feedback goes both ways. We invite it from patients and expect it from each other. We call feedback a luxury because it’s rare to truly have it in a culture that actually acts on it. We’ve worked hard to build that culture — where honest input is welcomed, not punished, and where the patient’s voice shapes how we keep getting better.

“Move Better. Live Better.”

This is our promise to every patient, every team member, and every community we serve. It’s the heartbeat of Propel Physical Therapy — and it means more than physical outcomes. It means walking out of here feeling capable. Feeling known. Feeling like the hour you just spent was worth every minute. That’s what we’re building toward, across every location, every visit, every year.
